Hi, we're Gena & Ellee Lloyd — a mother-daughter team from Rock Port, Missouri, and the hands behind every Forest Finds candle and bar of soap.

Forest Finds actually began with three of us — Gena and both of her daughters. But as life goes, paths diverge, and one daughter followed her own direction. Ellee stayed, and for good reason: she knew exactly what she wanted instead of college — to build something real, alongside her mom. Gena had always been the one with the great business ideas, so teaming up felt like the most natural thing in the world. Together, they turned a shared dream into Forest Finds — and they've never looked back.

Our love of the forest runs deep. Gena's husband Josh is a lumberjack, which means nature isn't just an aesthetic for us — it's our everyday life. The woods, the seasons, the smell of fresh air and cedar — all of it finds its way into everything we make.

What Goes Into Every Candle

We hand-pour every single candle using a thoughtfully crafted blend of coconut soy beeswax — chosen for its clean burn, longer lasting scent throw, and natural origins. We use only clean, non-toxic fragrance oils, so you can fill your home with beautiful scent without worrying about what you're breathing in.

Our scents are custom blended and completely unique to Forest Finds — you won't find them anywhere else. Each one is inspired by the forests, fields, and seasons we love.

We believe the details matter. That's why every Forest Finds candle is poured into recycled glass vessels — giving new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste.

We're also proud to source our wooden wicks from a supplier with a mission we believe in: for every 100 wicks purchased, a tree is planted. Every candle you burn helps put roots back in the ground.
